Abstract Submission

Deadline for submission - Monday 14th December 2026, 11:59pm.

Papers are invited from all individuals associated with burn injury, members of the BBA as well as non-members, submitted in one of the following categories: Research, Care or Prevention

If accepted, abstracts are presented as either an oral or poster presentation at the BBA Annual Conference in Newcastle in 2027.

Abstracts will be judged by a selected panel of reviewers from each category, who will use standardised criteria to choose those accepted.

Results will be notified on Tuesday 9th February 2027

Abstract selection will be the responsibility of the Programme committee and their decision is final.

Abstracts accepted for posters or podium presentations may be published in BBA approved platforms subject to additional consent by authors. The full programme will be available on the BBA website as a record of the conference proceedings.
